Flag Quiz — Support

Frequently asked questions

How does the Daily Challenge work?

Every day there are 10 flags — 4 easy, 3 medium, 3 hard — and they're the same for every player on that date, so you can compare results with friends. You can play it once per day. The share text shows how you did without revealing the answers.

Which countries are included?

195 countries: the 193 United Nations member states, Vatican City and Taiwan. Hong Kong and Macau are available as a separate Territories set that you can switch on in the quiz settings; they are not part of the Daily Challenge.

What do "weak", "learning", "mastered" and "review" mean?

A flag you miss becomes weak and comes back more often until you get it right three times in a row — then it's mastered. Mastered flags return for a quick review after a few days, then weeks, so you don't forget them. The Collection screen shows where every flag stands.

Will I lose my progress?

Progress is saved on your device, so it survives closing the app and updating it. It does not sync between devices, and uninstalling the app (or clearing the website's data in your browser) deletes it. There is no account to restore from.

The app isn't playing sounds / vibrating

Check Settings → Sound and Settings → Vibration inside the app, then your device's silent switch and volume. On iPhone, the ringer switch mutes game sounds.

How do I turn the daily reminder on or off?

Settings → Daily reminder. You can also disable notifications for Flag Quiz in your phone's notification settings.

Can I use a keyboard or controller?

Yes. In multiple-choice modes press 1–4; in Type-answer mode use the arrow keys, Enter and Escape. Xbox-style controllers work in the web and Android versions.
